Fulham Under-18s secured a place in the knockout stages of the Premier League Cup on Saturday, beating Nottingham Forest 4-2 in their final group game.

Aaron Loupalo-Bi and Terrell Works struck in the first half, before Harvey Araujo and Tom Olyott grabbed another two after the break to secure a big win.

We started the game well, pressing from the front right from the off.

After creating a couple of half chances, we took a deserved lead through Loupalo-Bi. Lemar Gordon burst down the right before reaching the byline and crossing towards our number nine, who slotted home.

Forest, however, responded soon enough and equalised through Jimmy Sinclair. Fulham 'keeper Alfie McNally made an incredible save to deny an initial effort, but couldn't stop Sinclair from finishing after the loose ball found him.

Although that goal came just five minutes before the break, we still went in ahead. Gordon curled a stunning ball from the left across to Works, who calmly volleyed home.

We took a narrow 2-1 lead into the interval.

Our advantage was soon doubled five minutes into the second half, when Araujo latched onto a loose ball from a corner before slotting into the bottom left.

The game looked to be all but done as a contest on 71 minutes, when Olyott nodded home after Bradley De Jesus' initial effort through on goal was saved.

The hosts scored what would only be a consolation goal with 10 minutes to play. After some neat combination play, a cross from the right was headed in by Theo Robinson.

A brilliant away performance from Ali Melloul's side, who now wait to hear who they'll face in the Quarter-Finals.
