Fulham Under-12s have been taking time to remember our fallen soldiers as part of the Truce Cup Premier League project. This year, the theme is ‘Spirit Of The Poppy’.

Ahead of their game this Sunday, the boys have been busy collecting food for our local food bank. They have been rallying friends and family members as well as other Academy teams, to collect and donate as much as they can in order to support those who are in need of some additional support.

The collection will continue into next week, before we head to https://kingston.foodbank.org.uk/ to drop it off.

The Under 12s themselves have been getting creative with some of their reflections, and have been making poppies that capture Fulham values.

The team themselves also filmed a tribute to the fallen soldiers by recording Flanders Fields written John McCrae. Resilient like a poppy, the team battled stormy weather to film their poignant tribute.

Additionally this Sunday, the Under-12s will be supporting FFC Foundation with their Mental Health awareness campaign this Sunday at the Cottage.

We take a special moment to remember those soldiers who represented FFC and died fighting for their country.
