Fulham Under-21s will aim to get straight back to winning ways on Friday evening, when they host Blackburn Rovers at Motspur Park (7pm ko).

The game will be shown live on FFCtv for all paid subsribers, with Gentleman Jim providing commentary.

Form

Fulham:

The young Whites were held by Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, with the two sides drawing 1-1 and Alex Borto coming to our rescue with a late penalty stop. Steve Wigley's side won their two games prior to that result, beating Everton 2-0 and smashing Leicester City 7-0. We currently sit in fourth position, just three points off league leaders Arsenal.

Blackburn:

Mike Sheron's side had their strong run put to an end in their previous game, with Chelsea recording a 3-0 win at Kingsmeadow. Before that they had racked up 10 points from a possible 12, but due to their slow start this season they still find themselves down towards the lower end of the table. They found success up in Manchester during the positive run, beating both United and City by an aggregate score of 9-2.

One To Watch: Harry Leonard

The forward already sits on five goals and three assists in seven games and is regularly the star man for Rovers. The teenager signed professional terms with the club earlier this year having passed 20 goals across the Under-18s and Under-23s.

Coach Insight

Right-back Luciano D'Auria-Henry is feeling good after a decent week of training.

"Preparations have been good, we’ve been working hard as we are eager to get back to winning ways but we also know that Blackburn won’t be an easy game.

"Last weekend we played a tough Spurs side and we didn’t perform to our usual standards, but this week we're determined to get the three points in front of the fans and put on a good show."

D'Auria-Henry

The 19-year-old is impressed with the increase in standard following our promotion to the top flight.

"The quality of the division has been a big step up from last year," he admitted. "Every game is a test and we have to go into each one at one hundred per cent or we will get punished. I think we’ve stepped up a Ievel this year and shown we’re not an easy side to play against."
