Fulham Under-21s prepare for their most important game left this season, Brentford B in the Semi-Finals of the Premier League Cup.

The game will be shown live on FFCtv, with Gentleman Jim providing commentary. Should our Under-21s progress, they will face Blackburn Rovers in the Final.

Form

Fulham:

Steve Wigley's side have been the standout team in this competition so far, winning all eight of their games across the group stage and knockouts. They most recently smashed QPR and then Stoke City 5-0 and 6-1 respectively to reach this point.

Brentford:

The young Bees produced one of the shocks of the tournament in the Quarter-Finals, beating Arsenal 1-0 thanks to a 94th minute penalty. Prior to that game, they held out in the Round of 16 to beat Middlesbrough 2-1.

One To Watch: Alex Gilbert

The winger, who is Brentford B's captain, scored the winning penalty against Arsenal and has been a key player for our opponents this season. The 21-year-old is a graduate of the West Bromwich Albion Academy and has been capped for the Republic of Ireland at youth level.

Gilbert has featured on the First Team bench a number of times and travelled with the senior squad for their mid-season training camp in Girona.

Player Thoughts

Former Brentford man Matt Dibley-Dias is excited to get stuck into the challenge.
