Fulham Under-21s return their focus to the PL2, making the short journey to Crystal Palace on Monday afternoon (1pm ko).

Form

Crystal Palace:

Similarly to our young side, Palace won their season opener in dramatic fashion, with Jadan Raymond scoring a 97th minute winner at home to Manchester United. Their second game at Reading, however, ended in a 2-0 defeat.

Fulham:

Although it's early days, Hayden Mullins will be pleased with how his side have started their campaign. A hard-fought victory at Wolves was followed by a 2-1 win against reigning champions Manchester City at Motspur Park. Most recently, the lads battled to a 3-3 draw against Portsmouth's senior side despite going down to 10-men before half-time.

One To Watch: Jesuran Rak-Sakyi

Following his highly impressive campaign last year while on loan at Charlton, skilful young winger Jesuran Rak-Sakyi is our one to watch. The youngster came on for the senior side against Arsenal earlier this week, so might not be involved come matchday, but he played for Palace's Under-21 side in their first PL2 game of the season.

Last Time Out

As is often the case when these two sides meet, it was a tight affair back in January at Crystal Palace's training ground. Thankfully our lads came out on top, claiming a 2-1 win thanks to a Sonny Hilton corner and Adrion Pajaziti screamer.

Tanton: A Competitive Match

Right-back Devan Tanton caught up with fulhamfc.com ahead of the London derby.

On our excellent draw at Portsmouth earlier in the week, the Colombian international said: "It was brilliant to play against a League One side and to match up against some seasoned pros.

"It was a really good atmosphere and we learned to manage the game having gone a man down."

Looking ahead, Tanton expects a tough match against the young Eagles at Selhurst Park.

"Every time we play against Palace it’s a very competitive match with a lot of action up both ends of the pitch. We expect them to be strong in wide areas and we have to match that up."

After playing three games across all competitions so far, the young Whites remain unbeaten having picked up two wins and a draw.

"There have been a lot of new variables going into this season, like players getting injured or going out on loan, but I think the resilience of the group to put up some decent results against strong sides has got the team morale high."
