Join us instore this Sunday to get your copies of That's Entertainment signed by the author himself!
Fulham legend Tony Gale will be in the Stadium Store on Sunday to sign copies of his new autobiography, That’s Entertainment.
He will be in the Store from 11am – 12pm, ahead of our clash with another of his former sides, West Ham, where you can get your copy signed, and also get a photo with Galey at the same time!
That’s Entertainment, which can be purchased online or in-store on the day, covers Gale’s entire career, from coming through the ranks at Craven Cottage where he played with Bobby Moore, Rodney Marsh and George Best, to winning the Premier League in his twilight years with Blackburn, and then his move into the media sector.
“I waited until now rather than putting something out in the middle of my career when you can't say anything,” Galey said. “I am getting a little bit older now, so it's a full life story, rather than when you are in the middle of your playing career or still deciding what you're going to do after playing.
“Those people’s books can be pretty boring, but this one ain’t!
“The Fulham chapters were the most fun to do, I’ve got to be honest. The stories of my apprenticeship and everything, there are some good stories in there about that. Then obviously getting in the team with the three amigos – Moore, Best and Marsh.
“And then it goes on to another era of players and the turnaround with Bobby Campbell, with Ray Houghton, Paul Parker, Ray Lewington, Gordon Davies, Les Strong, people like that.
“It’s the full story, from when I was aged 12 at Fulham, to leaving at 24. So those will be the interesting chapters for the Fulham fans.”
Arrive early to avoid disappointment!
Appearance may be subject to delay and last-minute cancellation.
