By Fulham FC

From 13-17th February, Fulham FC Foundation ran our School Holiday Soccer Schools programme across three different venues in South-West London.

Throughout the week, Bishop's Park in Fulham, Burntwood School in Earlfield and the Fulham FC Training Ground in Motspur Park, were host to over 500 participants!

We also welcomed Fulham FC stars João Palhinha, Andreas Pereira and Marek Rodák, as well as a host of FFCW U18s and FFC Academy U18s, who surprised our participants!

We are so proud to have created an environment where, whether you are new to the game or play regularly, there is something for everyone. Groups are split by age and ability to ensure our participants have the opportunity to play with their friends and in an environment that will challenge them to develop and have fun!

We believe that all people should have access to open and inclusive sport and physical activity.

Our hugely popular holiday Soccer Schools create more opportunities to enjoy the game, and the life skills that come with it.

All our Soccer Schools are open to everyone – boys and girls, ages 3-14, of all abilities are welcome. In some instances, participants may feel more comfortable in an adapted environment, therefore we deliver specific Soccer Schools to meet their needs. These include:

  • Billy’s Beginners (3-5 years old)
  • Mixed Mainstream (5-14 years old)
  • Girls-only (5-14 years old)

Our Billy’s Beginners programme is based on improving the individual’s football skills, their ability to take turns and their creative thinking. To engage these participants, sessions will need to be designed based around a theme. Learning meets storytelling!

The syllabus for our older participants (5-14) is designed to improve the core techniques relevant to the individual. The topics are deliberately broad so that coaches can design their sessions to meet the needs of the group they are working with.

Feedback from our Soccer Schools parents

  • “My child loved seeing some of the professionals and actually playing at the training ground. He also said he really liked the coaches.”
  • “Seeing my son's confidence to attend on his own without his friends due to the enjoyment he has experienced attending the soccer school before.”
  • “Brilliantly organised and friendly coaches.”

And our Soccer Schools are back for Easter!

We will be in Bishop's Park, Burntwood School and the Training Ground from 3-6th April and then from 11-14th April, with spaces now available to book.
