Fulham Under-19s made it all the way to the Final in the Under-19s International Indoor Tournament in Göttingen.

Ali Melloul's side made a brilliant start to the competition, beating SC 1911 Heiligenstadt and JSG Weper 4-0 and 6-0 respectively on day one in the group stages.

Our winning run continued on day two, when the young Whites fired five past TuSpo Petershütte and for the third time in a row, kept a clean sheet. The fourth test in our group came in the form of SC Göttingen 05, and this one wasn't quite as convincing. We recorded a narrow 2-1 victory to make it four wins out of four.

Captain Delano McCoy-Splatt spoke to a reporter midway through proceedings to chat about the experience.

Our lads found it difficult the next day, losing 7-3 to AZ Alkmaar before suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Hannover 96. Our impressive start ensured that we progressed through to the next stage.

Next came the interim round, which saw us drawn in Group B alongside Club Brugge and Borussia Mönchengladbach. After losing 3-1 to the Belgian side, we responded well, beating Gladbach 4-2.

Fulham U19s prepare for kick-off

It was knockout time for our youngsters, who took on FC Schalke 04 in the Quarter-Finals. Terrell Works, Aaron Loupalo-Bi and Delano McCoy-Splatt all struck to make it a fairly comfortable 3-0 win, which secured us a Semi-Final spot where we were reunited with AZ Alkmaar who were lethal earlier in the tournament. It was a tough challenge once again and our 19s battled to a 2-2 draw, which meant it was to be decided on penalties in front of an excited (and very noisy) crowd.

Watch all the drama as it unfolded below...

We kept our cool and Ollie Gofford's composed strike sealed the victory.

The Final soon came, where we would go head-to-head with Austria Vienna, who have already won the competition three times in the past. The REWE Junior Cup veterens were simply too strong on the day, winning the game 6-1 to lift the trophy.

An incredible experience for our young players, who were able to enjoy regular interactions with fans and test themselves in a different footballing setting.

You've done the club proud, lads!
