Fulham Football Club Foundation are delighted to announce that our brand new programme for aspiring football coaches, Made in Fulham, is now recruiting its first cohort.
Made in Fulham will provide participants with qualifications and experiences that can support their first steps into a football coaching career. No previous coaching experience or coaching qualifications are necessary to take part.

Made in Fulham is for 16-25 year olds who are interested in a career in coaching but have yet to achieve any coaching qualifications and would like to gain some coaching experience. The programme runs for a period of 13 weeks where participants will start their journey by undertaking a one-week intensive course. In this first week, participants will undertake the EE Playmaker qualification and develop skills that will enable them to assist existing coaching staff on Fulham FC Foundation programmes.
From week two onwards, participants will have a personalised schedule that will include:
- Two weekly coaching sessions where they will gain valuable work experience;
- A weekly coach education session with experienced coach developers. During these sessions participants will also undertake two coaching qualifications – Disability Football Introduction and Introduction to Futsal;
- Employability sessions incorporating interview techniques and CV writing;
- 1-2-1 mentoring sessions with qualified staff.
On completion of the programme, Fulham FC Foundation will fund the enrolment of each young person onto the Introduction to Coaching Football qualification.
Made in Fulham aims to support young people through the combination of coaching qualifications, practical coaching experiences, and the development of employability skills, hopefully enhancing their future prospects and helping them work towards their career goals.
