Fulham FC Foundation are delighted to announce that we will now be running our popular player development camps throughout the summer holidays.
Our Girls Development Centre (GDC) will cater for many more of our players, we will be running our development sessions for a wider span of age groups, these include U7/8 (Year 2/3), U9/10/11 (Year 4/5/6) and U12/13/14 (Year 7/8/9). The Player Pathway programme will also be running for age groups U7/U8, U9/10/11 and U12/13.
The camps will run Monday to Friday, across three weeks in summer (July 24th to 27th, August 7th to 10th and August 21st to 24th) at Shrewsbury House School, Surbiton.
The Holiday camps are open for both existing and prospective participants and are a great way to get a feel for the programme.
The programmes aim to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of our players, while also increasing a player’s confidence and self-esteem. We provide an engaging and inspiring environment where all players can take ownership of their own development and learning.
We are also delighted to announce that players who attend the full course will receive an individualised player feedback card that they can utilise to further their development.

"I think more girls should come to GDC camp because I’ve made lots of friends with the same interests as myself and the coaching has been targeted at my self-improvement. When I receive my player card I get individual feedback on things I can learn in between the camps so I can work on my own to better my performance."
Zoe, Girls Development Centre Participant, Age 12
The days follow the syllabus being used in our weekly sessions to ensure we develop players further over the week, working across the FA's 4 corner model (physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social).

"Player feedback cards are a great tool for individuals to understand areas they are excelling in as well as some areas of improvements, this helps them to recognise their strengths and make sure they continue to develop in areas holistically across the FA 4 corner model."
Niamh Barnett, Female Football Development Officer

"I spoke to Beth (Female Provision Coach) and she said that she gets a feedback card as she has been there all week. I am very keen to hear the open feedback as this is Ella's first football camp and she hasn’t been playing football too long. She has really enjoyed it, so thank you to you and the team."
