Recently, over 150 young Fulham fans got the chance to live out their dreams and play football at Craven Cottage thanks to Fulham FC Foundation.
The annual Fulham FC Foundation Community Day took place on Saturday 3rd June, with players taking part in a two-hour training session on the pitch at Craven Cottage, with a variety of skills drills, small-sided games and challenges provided. The young people involved included participants from Fulham FC Foundation’s Saturday Skills Club, Soccer Schools, Pan DisAbility and Girls Development Centre programmes, amongst others.
This ‘next generation’ of Fulham fans, and keen footballers, was cheered on by friends and family in the Johnny Haynes stand, creating a true Fulham atmosphere for those out there on the hallowed turf.

Guests on the day were also present for a Q&A session with a range of Fulham FC Foundation participants, making up a special Youth Panel. This panel shared their experiences at Fulham with the wider group, reflecting on the difference made to their lives by being involved in our healthy, inclusive and thriving community at Fulham.
Special thanks must go to Fulham Football Club, who each season provide access to Craven Cottage for Community Day, as well as over 12,000 hours of facility use at Fulham FC’s Training Ground in Motspur Park for Fulham FC Foundation community activities.

“Community Day is a great opportunity for young people and adults across the community to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. One of Fulham FC Foundation’s strategic pillars is to inspire a lifelong love of sport and bring Fulham FC to the community, and Community Day is a great example of this.” - Tom Lyons, Director of Community Development Fulham FC Foundation
