Fulham Under-21s picked up their second dramatic PL2 win on the bounce this Friday, beating an in-form Tottenham Hotspur 4-3.

Charlie Robinson's header put us ahead late on, after goals earlier in the game from Martial Godo, Terry Ablade and Devan Tanton.

Following their absence during our hard-fought victory over Blackburn Rovers last weekend, Luke Harris and George Wickens returned to the lineup in place of Alex Borto and Terrell Works. Head Coach Steve Wigley opted for no more changes to the starting 11.

Midfielder Kristian Šekularac featured on the bench after spending a long period out due to injury.

The young Whites made a dream start, taking the lead just three minutes in. Godo latched onto a brilliant ball through from Harris before calmly slotting home.

Godo fires us ahead!

Up the other end, Jay Williams came to the rescue for his side, making a heroic block to deny a powerful effort from close-range.

It was an entertaining game in the early stages, with Ablade soon testing goalkeeper Josh Keely from a tight angle. The Spurs ‘keeper did well to parry our number nine’s venomous effort.

The visitors got themselves level on nine minutes, courtesy of Yago Alonso. The winger, who scored against us in the reverse tie, flew past Robinson before slotting home from a tight angle.

Spurs put a good move together midway through the first half and took the lead as a result. Jude Soonsup-Bell was played in before drilling a strike into the bottom left corner. After a positive start, our youngsters found themselves with work to do.

We were being treated to an action-packed game at Motspur Park with Ablade closing down the goalkeeper, whose attempted clearance cannoned off the forward before flying into the Tottenham goal. That made it 2-2 within just 30 minutes.

Ablade scores our second of the game!

Spurs’ Romaine Mundle almost scored a brilliant solo goal five minutes before the break. After charging forward from his own half, the winger cut onto his right foot and fired a low shot inches wide of the far post.

The away side re-took the lead just before the break, when George Abbott's header at the near post somehow snuck past Wickens. It may have taken a slight deflection on its way through.

After a competitive opening half, we went in 3-2 down.

Tanton looks for a pass

The young Whites started the second half positively and made it 3-3 on 58 minutes. Tanton’s cross from the right-hand side floated over everyone before nestling into the top far corner.

Our lads’ tails were up. Harris’ low delivery from the left found Ablade, but his following effort went flying high and wide.

Spurs had the ball in the net not long after but the linesman quickly raised his flag, deeming that the ball had rolled just out for a goal kick in the build-up.

Šekularac makes his return

We were enjoying a bright spell in the game and managed to take the lead with just under 10 minutes to play. Robinson's glancing header beat Spurs' substitute goalkeeper before finding the left corner.

In the end, that goal was enough to seal the points with our youngsters defending well in the closing stages.
