The Club is delighted to announce that winger Lemar Gordon has signed his first professional deal.
The 17-year-old, who joined us from Brentford following their Academy's closure, has played a massive part this season for Ali Melloul's Under-18s. With blistering pace and a love for taking on defenders, Lemar is always an exciting player to watch and can get the crowd on their feet at any given moment.
His talent was recognised last season, with the youngster playing up for the 18s despite being considerably younger than most players he was up against.
After signing on with the club, Lemar shared his pleasure with fulhamfc.com.
"I’m feeling really happy to have been offered my first professional contract at Fulham FC. I’ve been waiting for this moment for a long time and I’m so grateful that my journey will continue here.
"The club feels like home. I’ve been here since the end of Under-10s and they have played a big part in my development as a player and as a person."
Gordon talked us through his initial reaction after hearing the exciting news.
"It was a very proud moment for me and my family. I had a meeting that I had to go to before a training session and they told me the news. I was buzzing!"

"My aim for the next year is to start playing with the Under-21s and then I'll be working hard to break into the First Team. For me to do this, I have to consistently produce on the pitch."
Academy Director Sean Cullen later added: "This is a fantastic moment for Lemar and his family, and comes as a reward for his hard work and commitment to the programme. The challenge for Lemar now is to show that he's ready for the next step in his journey."
