Fulham FC Foundation are delighted to announce that our Girls Development Centre programme will be expanding, with an additional night based at Shrewsbury House School in Surbiton.
This weekly programme will run on Thursday evenings from 6.30-8pm on the 3G pitch for current age groups Under 8 – Under 14 (current School Years 3 – 9).
Thursday 20th April saw more than 60 girls attend the session, from those in year 3 to year 9! Our programme aims to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of our players, while also increasing a player’s confidence and self-esteem. We provide an engaging and inspiring environment where female players can take ownership of their own development and learning.

Bea, a GDC participant, said: "Fulham training is my favourite because the coaches are really good and the pitches are brilliant. The other girls are good footballers and very friendly."
Bea’s Mum added: “Bea loves football and has played in a few places, but Fulham last term really was her favourite ever. I think the environment you have developed is really positive, she was always so excited to be going and always bounced out at the end. You have done a great job, thank you for having her and thank you to Nat too for all his encouragement and coaching!”
Our weekly sessions follow our exclusive syllabus to ensure we develop players over the course of the term, working across the FA's 4 corner model (physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social).

Beth, our Female Provision coach, exclaims: “Our Girls Development Centre is a great programme that offers high quality coaching, a weekly syllabus to improve participants learning, great facilities, as well as creating a positive and fun environment for girls!”
Our Girls Development Centre will also be running a wider span of age groups in May and summer half term! The camp will run for U9/10/11 (years 4/5/6), U12/13 (years 7/8) and U14/15/16 (years 9/10/11). If a player attends all four days, they will receive an individualised player feedback card from their coach, meaning they will be able to further progress their football development!
Ava, a 10-year-old GDC participant, said: “I have been attending Fulham girls' development centre for over a year now and I love it! The coaches are so welcoming and friendly and they have been so supportive throughout my Fulham journey. They work us hard but we always have lots of fun and learn so many new skills! I also attend the holiday camps because I know I will have such a great day! I have made so many friends at Fulham and I leave each session smiling!”
She encourages any girls inspired to take part in football to come along and try out the session: “If you are an experienced footballer or want to give it your first try, Fulham is the place for you!”
