Aston Villa v Fulham | Sunday 12th November | 2pm | Villa Park | #AVLFUL
The opposition
- It’s been a fine start to Unai Emery’s first full campaign in charge at Aston Villa, with seven wins from their opening 11 matches seeing them sit fifth in the standings.
- Villa Park has been an absolute fortress for the team, who have won their last 12 league games on home soil, with a 4-2 defeat by Arsenal in mid-February the last time they dropped points there.
- Villa actually head into the weekend having lost their previous Premier League outing 2-0 at Nottingham Forest, but they responded with victory in the Europa Conference League in midweek, coming from behind to defeat AZ Alkmaar 2-1.

Aston Villa team news
Diego Carlos picked up an injury against AZ and will miss the weekend, while Jacob Ramsey is not yet ready for a return. Alex Moreno is back in contention, though.
Fulham team news
Rodrigo Muniz and Issa Diop will miss out, but Tosin, Kenny Tete and Adama Traoré all have a chance of making the matchday squad.

Player insight
Despite Villa’s imposing home form, Bobby De Cordova-Reid insists Fulham will be going after all three points on Sunday.
“The manager, since he’s been in, I think he’s got the best home record in the Premier League, so we understand it’s a tough place to go,” he said.
“We’ll respect them, but we’re going out to win the game. We’ll have a gameplan and play on their weaknesses, and hopefully with a bit of luck we’ll get the three points.”
