Marco Silva, Paul Heckingbottom, Tom Cairney, Rhian Brewster and Raúl Jiménez look ahead to Fulham versus Sheffield United.

Paul Heckingbottom

[Fulham] have not changed their approach since they went up. Subtle changes, more around personnel because they have gradually improved the squad. They were very strong in the Championship when they went up, improved and did really well in the Premier League, and tried to improve again this season as well. We pretty much know the tactical setup with how it's going to be, but it's a good team with some good players.

It’s going to be tough, it’s going to be difficult, but we know we can do things much better. It would be good for us to finish these four games, before international duties, with seven points. It’s an important game. We are playing again at home and, after our defeat against Chelsea, we need to come back stronger, do what we know we can do. We know we can do better than the last game and give our fans the chance to celebrate, and give them a nice weekend.

Newcastle, obviously, was a terrible day for everybody involved with the Blades. For us, it was dust ourselves off, it’s happened now, we can’t change it, but we can change it in the upcoming fixtures. We lost to West Ham, and I feel like that was fine margins again – two goals in the first half that were probably mistakes. I feel like we showed in the second half that if we’d started the game like that it would have been a different story. We’ve got to pick up where we left off with that second half at West Ham, and bring it into Fulham. If we do that, I’m not saying we’ll win, hopefully we will win, but it will give us definitely a better stage to help us win.

Marco Silva

It’s always tough against Sheffield United, we know how they come here always with the two strikers, in any moment of the game ready to try to punish you. They have the capacity, even if you press them high, to go more direct for one of the target men, and after to explore in behind. They prepare well for second balls and they are always a threat in set-pieces as well. We have to be really focused on the game and, of course, put the game in the areas that we are strong, and to play in our way. We will have to work really hard to win the game. That’s the way that we have to think, is the way that our fans have to approach the game as well, and our players.

It will be a tough, tough game. Look, everyone’s seen the [8-0] result they’ve had against Newcastle. Sometimes you get those freak results in the Premier League – Bournemouth did last year against Liverpool away when it was 9-0 and then everyone tipped them to have a really bad season, but they ended up having a really good one. Listen, any Premier League team’s going to be a hard, hard team to beat, but we’ve got to look at ourselves, look at our performance, and hopefully go into the international break with a win.
