The Club is delighted to now confirm that Connor McAvoy has signed a new two-year deal with a club option of a further year.

After joining Fulham back in 2010, Connor worked his way up the age groups before being handed the captaincy for our Under-21s side, where he would play a huge part in the 20/21 and 21/22 seasons.

His excellent performances earnt him a loan move to Wealdstone, where he won their Player of the Season Award after capturing the hearts of the fans.

Connor got his first taste of senior football at Fulham in Portugal during an impressive 2-0 pre-season win over OGC Nice, putting in a strong display himself.

After putting pen to paper, Connor told fulhamfc.com: "I’m very happy to have the chance to stay at Fulham, I know the Club very well and feel like I belong here. I’ve enjoyed the last 11 years and I don’t see myself anywhere else.

"It was a very easy decision to re-sign here. I enjoy coming in and working hard every day and I get on well with everyone. It’s where I’ve always wanted to play from a young age."

The Scotland youth international has been away from the pitch due to an injury he picked up while on loan at Scottish side Partick Thistle.

"The recovery is going okay so far. It's obviously been a tough six months but I'm definitely making progress. Hopefully I won't be out for too much longer and once I’m back I want to return to full fitness as soon as I can."

Head of Football Development, Huw Jennings, continued: “We are delighted to confirm Connor’s new contract signing.

"Prior to his unfortunate injury last season, Connor was enjoying a fine spell of form, first for our Under-21s and subsequently at Partick Thistle on loan. Hopefully Connor can recover soon from his current setback to build on his growing reputation.”
