Fulham Under-21s return from the international break and begin their Premier League Cup campaign at Brentford on Friday evening (7pm ko).

Form

Brentford:

The young Bees went all the way to win the trophy last season after beating Blackburn Rovers 2-1 in the final. Brentford's B team, who do not currently compete in a competitive division, have made a mixed start this season in their friendlies. They bounced back after being beaten 2-1 against Real Betis,  beating the Spanish side 1-0 in a rematch two days later. Their most recent result was a 2-1 defeat against Luton Town.

Fulham:

Our youngsters are one of the few sides left to have remained unbeaten in all competitions so far this season. Our lads sit second in the PL2 table, equal with leaders Tottenham Hotspur who boast a slightly better goal difference. Hayden Mullins' side went into the international break after firing five past Southampton just four days after doing the same at Crystal Palace.

Last Time Out:

The last Academy West London Derby came in this very competition last season at Motspur Park. Unfortunately on that occasion our 21s fell just short, with Brentford picking up a 2-1 win to advance to the final.
