The Club is delighted to announce that Martial Godo has won the PL2 Player of the Month Award for August.
Our 20-year-old winger caused havoc in each of our three PL2 games and got his reward, with five goals and an assist.
After finding out he'd won the award, Martial told fulhamfc.com: "I am pleased and honoured to have won the Player of the Month Award and it's a great feeling to be recognised by the league for my performances.
"Personally, I set high standards for myself and itβs always important to work hard in pre-season and start the season strong."
On his loan move to Wigan, he added: "I am determined and looking forward to showcasing my talent, helping out the team and continuing my good form as consistency is of course key."
He was selected as the winner by the Premier League Football Development Panel after PL2 club coaches chose the best performance by an opposing player, in each of their league matches during August.
Martial will be hoping impress for The Tics, who host Cambridge United on Saturday.
