Just a matter of hours after our Under-21s smashed Brentford 6-1, Fulham Under-18s beat our other local rivals Chelsea 3-1 at Cobham.
A Callum Osmand header and a Chibby Nwoko stunner put us two up at half-time, before Aaron Loupalo-Bi netted to make it three. Shumaira Mhueka fired home in the dying seconds for Chelsea to take away our clean sheet.
Ali Melloul was boosted by the return of last season’s golden boot winner Loupalo-Bi, who has been absent so far this season due to injury. He was joined up top by Osmand, who scored an incredible bicycle kick for our Under-21s the evening before at Brentford.
Our captain Ollie Gofford showed his incredible versatility yet again, stepping in valiantly to perform at centre-back alongside Samuel Tabares.
Chelsea’s Reiss Russell-Denny almost caught Alfie McNally out early on with a lofted free-kick, which floated inches wide.
Up the other end, Bradley De Jesus swung in an excellent cross towards Osmand, who was denied the chance to put us ahead thanks to some decent defending. The hosts weren’t able to stop the youngster from the resulting corner though, with his brilliant glancing header finding the far bottom corner. Advantage Fulham after six minutes.

We were finding success from corners in the early stages and almost scored from another one as we approached the 15-minute mark. De Jesus' bullet header after a scramble was somehow kept out by goalkeeper Luke Campbell.
We eventually did grab our second and what a strike it was from Chibby Nwoko, who rifled an effort from far out into the top right corner. An excellent start from our Under-18s.

The young Blues created a couple of opportunities as they searched for a way back into the game. Michael Golding burst through and had his stinging effort blocked, before Russell-Deny fired just over from outside the area.
Samuel Amissah needed to be alert and was, getting on the end of a dangerous cross before heading just over his own goal. Seconds later, Tabares put his body on the line to block Ato Ampah’s low drilled attempt towards goal.
Ampah was involved again for Chelsea five minutes before the break. The tricky winger cleverly shifted the ball onto his left and although his strike had power, it was straight at McNally who smothered.
We went in at half-time two goals up thanks to Osmand and Nwoko

The first chance of the second half fell to us, with Osmand drilling an effort just wide after latching onto a neat Tom Olyott pass.
We soon had Amissah to thank, though, when his superb block denied Ampah whose strike was heading in. An entertaining start to the second half.
Chelsea were enjoying their best spell of the game, but that didn’t phase our youngsters who made it 3-0 on 52 minutes. Credit to Josh King, who charged through midfield before cleverly slotting through to Loupalo-Bi who made no mistake. A goal to mark his return back into the side.

Chelsea's Somto Boniface thought he'd grabbed one back for his side on 73 when his first time strike slid just wide of the far post. Chelsea then missed an even bigger chance a minute later. Winger Frankie Runham took the ball around McNally before firing wide despite having an open goal at his mercy.
The hosts did manage to grab one back in the dying moments, when Mhueka found the top right corner with a powerful strike.
A third successive win for Ali Melloul's side, who will be hoping to continue their strong run next Saturday against Crystal Palace.
