Fulham FC Foundation are dedicated to creating equal opportunities for women and girls to take part in football. Over the 2022/23 season, our Girls Development Centre Programme saw over 300 girls engage with us throughout the year.
We are delighted to announce our Girls Development Centre expansion, following a new partnership with Emmanuel School. Our sessions will now also be running from an exciting new venue at Blagdons Sports Ground (New Malden, KT3 4PU). At this venue, our footballers have exclusive access to a full 11-a-side astro pitch for their weekly training sessions on Thursday evenings.

Girls Development Centre runs weekly to support individuals to achieve their maximal potential across key areas of the FA's 4 corner model (physical, technical/tactical, psychological and social) with the support of FA qualified coaches. Our syllabus focuses on both individual technical skills and builds to working as a team learning tactical skills to use within games based situations.
“Examples of areas we cover are ball manipulation skills to build confidence attacking 1v1 situations. We then develop players over the term as they build new social connections within the group, allowing them to progress their technical knowledge where they will learn how to attack as a unit and a team. Sessions at our new venue run 6-7.25pm for primary school year groups: U8s, U9s, U10s, U11s (school years 3 to 6) and 7.35-9pm for U12s, U13s, U14s, U15/16s (school years 7-11).
