Fulham v Norwich City | Wednesday 27th September | 7.45pm | Craven Cottage | #FULNOR
The opposition
- Norwich City started the 2023/24 Championship brilliantly, taking 10 points from their first four matches, scoring 13 goals in the process.
- Their form has tailed off this month, though, with a 1-0 win over Stoke City the only points they’ve taken from four matches, with their most recent defeat particularly harrowing, losing 6-2 at newly promoted Plymouth Argyle.
- This is a third away Carabao Cup tie of the campaign for the Canaries, though it hasn’t proven a problem so far. 1-0 wins at Queens Park Rangers and Bristol City booked their spot in Round Three.

Fulham team news
The Whites will be without Adama Traoré, Tosin and Saša Lukić, but Marco Silva hopes to have Lukić back for the SW6 derby next week.
Norwich team news
Ashley Barnes, Grant Hanley, Josh Sargent, Jacob Sørensen and Marcelino Núñez are all injured, while Danny Batth is cup-tied. Spanish winger Borja Sainz has not featured since his summer arrival, but could be in line for a debut having recovered from his ankle injury.
Tickets
Fans can still purchase tickets for Wednesday night’s game.
Weather
A dry day and night is forecast in SW6, with temperatures around 20 degrees at kick-off.
Matchday programme
Wednesday’s matchday programme features an interview with Marek Rodák, one of the Whites’ heroes of the 5-3 penalty shootout victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the last round of the Carabao Cup.
“I got a feeling in [Davinson Sánchez’s] run up, when he opened up his body, that he would go a particular way with his penalty and I guessed right and was able to save it,” commented Rodák on his all-important save against Spurs.
Elsewhere in the programme you can find Club Historian Alex White’s regular features, ‘Past Encounters’ and ‘Prestige Friendlies’. There is the latest instalment of John Shirley’s ‘Magic Numbers’ while Ken Coton explores another of his photographs in ‘Life Through A Lens’. You can pick up a copy of the programme on the night or online.
