A Fulham XI drew 3-3 with Hoffenheim in a behind-closed-doors fixture on Saturday morning.

The team that began the hour-long match were those who would not go on to start the 2-0 win over Hoffenheim’s first team later in the day, maximising minutes in the legs for all the boys who travelled on our pre-season tour.

The Whites went two goals up courtesy of strikes from Harry Wilson and Jay Stansfield, but the hosts reduced the deficit before the break, and then hit two second half goals to turn the match on its head.

But Stansfield struck late on with his second of the morning, to ensure it was honours even.
