Bernd Leno has been voted Man of the Match from our season opener against Manchester United.

Fulham captain on the night, Leno looked on course for a deserved clean sheet, making excellent saves to deny Bruno Fernandes – twice – in the first half, and Mason Mount in the second.

There was little he could do to keep out Joshua Zirkzee’s winner, with the United substitute diverting his shot completely across the goalkeeper and just inside the far post.

36.9 per cent of Whites fans gave Leno their vote, with Kenny Tete coming second (23.9%) on his 100th appearance for the Club, and Adama Traoré (13.2%) rounding out the top three.
