Bernd Leno’s dramatic late stop against Brentford has been nominated for the Premier League’s Save of the Month award.
After Harry Wilson had equalised in the second minute of stoppage time, hearts were in mouths when it looked as though it may count for nothing as former Fulham man Fabio Carvalho looked set to restore the Bees’ lead.
It was a great chance for the youngster but Leno was out quickly and made himself humongous to narrow the angle and repel Carvalho’s effort, with Timothy Castagne and Sander Berge also playing key roles in the immediate aftermath.

It’s a save that will never been underappreciated by those of a Fulham persuasion, as without it we wouldn't have experienced the euphoria of Wilson’s winner which followed.
Leno is up against Aaron Ramsdale, Lukasz Fabianski, Mark Flekken, Andre Onana and Mads Hermansen, with voting open from now until 12pm on Monday, and the winner announced next Friday.
