Harry Wilson’s instinctive equaliser against Brentford has been nominated for the Premier League’s Guinness Goal of the Month award.

Fulham looked set for defeat against our rivals, despite our domination, as we entered stoppage time, until Wilson ran across his man and sent an audacious first time flick high over the goalkeeper and inside the far post.

Comparisons to Clint Dempsey’s and Denis Odoi’s goals at the same end were made, and it was a strike which set up a grandstand finish which saw Wilson win the game in the most dramatic way.

He faces competition from Leif Davis, Mohamed Salah, Matheus Cunha, Alejandro Garnacho and Emerson. Voting is open from now until 12pm on Monday, with the winner announced next Friday.
