Fulham FC Foundation’s annual Stadium Sleepout took place on November 15th 2024. The event brought together fans, community members, and fundraisers committed to raising funds for vulnerable populations.
To deliver the event, Fulham FC Foundation partnered with SPEAR, a homelessness charity with initiatives that target those suffering homelessness or those at risk in South-West London, with both charities committed to supporting vulnerable people in our community via fundraisers like this one.
Highlights of the event
Fundraisers were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Craven Cottage, followed by a Q&A session with former Fulham FC player Barry Hayles. The discussion was hosted by fellow Fulham FC alumnus Les Strong, who explored Barry’s football career and asked which current squad members he would have liked to play alongside.

Proceeds benefit both the Fulham FC Foundation and charity partners like SPEAR, an organisation dedicated to tackling homelessness across South-West London. SPEAR also highlighted the critical context of this year’s sleepout, noting record homelessness levels in the capital.
Many participants joined out of a shared love for Fulham FC and the opportunity to make a difference, while experiencing a night under the stars at the Club’s iconic stadium.
Recently announced Fulham FC partner Nespresso also joined us on the night as an official sponsor for the Stadium Sleepout. Their involvement, highlighted by the fantastic coffee van providing free hot drinks, brought warmth and comfort to participants and truly elevated the event experience.

The dedication of their team was evident, with eight employees actively taking part and collectively raising nearly £2,000 in support of our cause. Their commitment and enthusiasm made a meaningful impact, and we are incredibly thankful for their support and the positive energy they brought to the evening.
Why it matters
"We were so grateful for the opportunity to partner with the Fulham FC Foundation for the Stadium Sleepout this year. This event not only raised vital funds but also helped us to raise awareness of the issue of homelessness in South-West London.
"The number of people sleeping rough in London is at a record high, with 4,780 people recorded as sleeping rough in London between July and September this year. And since the sleepout, the Severe Weather Emergency Protocol has been activated on three nights when temperatures fell below freezing.
"The support from Fulham FC fans and participants will help us provide essential services and support to some of the most vulnerable in our community. We’d like to thank everyone who took part and braved sleeping in the Putney Stand!” – Fiona Pugh, Communications Manager, SPEAR
