Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey have reached the AFCON final after beating South Africa in a dramatic penalty shootout last night.
Both Alex and Calvin started in the Semi-Final, playing a part in their nations efforts to feature in an eigth African Cup of Nations Final.
It was a tightly contested first half, with neither side finding a breakthrough but in the 65th minute, Nigeria's star man Victor Osimhen won a penalty, that was slotted under the 'keeper by William Troost-Ekong to give his side the lead. It looked as though the Super Eagles were destined for the Final inside of 90 minutes but a penalty was awarded the other way to South Africa, which was dispatched by Teboho Mokoena.
After a period of extra-time, a dramatic penalty shootout ensued in which Nigeria came out 4-2 winners; Kelechi Iheanacho the taker who delivered the final blow.

Nigeria will now face Ivory Coast in the AFCON Final on Sunday 11th February, with a kick-off time of 8pm.
