The Quarter-Final of the Capital Cup took place on Sunday for Fulham Women, who played Actonians at Rectory Park.

Fulham played Actonians in the Third Round Qualifying of the FA Cup earlier this season and won on penalties.

Megalie Mendes had an opportunity to open the scoring in the 15th minute, but drilled her free-kick just shy of the bottom left corner.
Five minutes later Actonians grabbed the lead.

Ella Tagliavini sent a searching ball over the top, which landed on top of Sasha Adamson and she managed to get a foot to it, but unfortunately wasn't able to control it down and the ball travelled towards the goalkeeper.
Adamson came close once again with a cross from Georgia Heasman, allowing Adamson to get a shot away but it went wide.

Fulham were able to lessen the deficit, when Adamson crossed the ball into Heasman who controlled it down and sent the ball into the left corner.
Fulham were given the opportunity to secure a second goal via a free-kick from Chloe McNee, but she was unable to direct it into the back of the net.
