Manchester United v Fulham | Saturday 24th February | 3pm | Old Trafford | #MUNFUL
The opposition
- After tasting defeat 14 times across all competitions during the first half of the season, Manchester United have been near-flawless in 2024, with a 2-2 draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur the only match of seven that they did not win.
- A big part of that upturn in form has been thanks to Rasmus Højlund finding his feet in the Premier League. The summer signing only netted one domestic goal prior to Boxing Day, but now has seven in his last six top flight appearances. He will, however, be absent at the weekend through injury.
- It has put the Red Devils firmly in the race for the Champions League spots, though there is still plenty of work to do, with fourth placed Aston Villa currently five points ahead.

Man Utd team news
United announced on Friday that top scorer Rasmus Højlund will miss several weeks through injury. Luke Shaw is set for a few months on the sidelines after picking up a muscle injury last time out at Luton, while the hosts will also be without Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount and Anthony Martial.
Fulham team news
João Palhinha serves the first of a two-game ban, while Raúl Jiménez is still injured. Willian is to be assessed ahead of the game, but Armando Broja will return to the squad after missing the Villa match through illness.
Tickets
Fans can continue buying tickets in person or over the phone (0203 871 0810) until 3pm on Friday. There will be no sales on the day.

Player insight
Calvin Bassey says Fulham will head to Old Trafford with a positive mindset on Saturday.
“We have to believe that we can go there and have the ball and create opportunities,” he told FFCtv. “At the end of the day, it’s about enjoying football, and we all enjoy playing good football and scoring goals and winning, so that’s what we’re going to try and do.”
