Rodrigo Muniz’s terrific February has seen him nominated for the Premier League’s EA Sports Player of the Month award.
After opening his Prem account in a 2-2 draw at Burnley with a composed lob, he hit a game-winning brace against Bournemouth at the Cottage, before finding the net once again with a clever finish against Aston Villa a week later.
He was unfortunate not to make it five goals in four matches last time out at Old Trafford, but his brilliant turn and shot smacked firmly against the upright. Nonetheless, it was still another fantastic performance from our number 19.
Muniz faces some stiff competition for February’s accolade, with Phil Foden, João Gomes, Pascal Gross, Rasmus Højlund, Bukayo Saka and Ollie Watkins all in the mix.
