Here's the lowdown on our new group of Academy scholars.

Macauley Zepa: Forward

After spending a few years at Arsenal, Macauley joined Fulham in February. He initially came in on trial and impressed from his first week.

With an eye for goal, Macauley is a left-footed winger who likes to work off the right side. He hit the ground running last season with the Under-16s and ended the campaign by scoring in four consecutive games for the Under-18s.

Alex Faux: Defender

Alex joined Fulham in 2022 as an Under-14. A tall centre-back, Alex boasts great speed and also loves to defend, especially against forwards in one-v-one situations.

He loves to have the ball at his feet - and will try to get the team moving forwards when he steps out from defence.

Callum Cliff: Defender

Callum has been at Fulham for 12 months after joining from Oxford United’s Academy last summer. He has a history of playing on the wing, but he now finds himself playing predominantly at centre-half.

However, he remains a versatile player and is comfortable playing at left-back. Fairly new to the Club and his position, Callum is an eager learner. He’s physically very strong and boasts good speed over short, medium and long distances.

Logan Cooke: Defender

Logan has done his full Academy journey with Fulham, joining as an Under-9. He’s a tall, commanding centre-back who captained the Under-16s last season.

A natural leader, Logan is a centre-back who loves defending, but he’s comfortable on the ball as well. He can hit diagonal passes off both feet and is always looking to progress the ball for the team.

He’s had good exposure to the Under-18s programme, making his debut against West Ham at the start of last season.

Quinn Schutter: Defender

Quinn is another player who has been with Fulham since Under-9s. He’s primarily a left-back, but he’s a versatile operator and has had a good mix of playing at centre-back and in midfield.

He prides himself on his set-piece deliveries, while he is also an accurate passer and crosser in open play. Quinn made his first Under-18s start in a 4-3 win over Leicester City last August.

Marcel Hall: Defender

Marcel has been with Fulham since 2021, joining as an Under-13 from London Elite Youth. Another left-back, Marcel is a productive offensive outlet who wants to impact the game in the final third.

He was called up to a Jamaica Under-17s camp in Flordia in May, which was a fantastic experience for the young defender.

Alfie White: Midfielder

Alfie joined Fulham at Under-14s level from London Elite Youth. He’s a central midfield player who can also play as a full-back. He can play a number of different roles; he can sit in the midfield, or play higher as a number eight or a 10.

A powerful midfielder, Alfie had good exposure to the Under-18s programme last season, featuring in two FA Youth Cup squads, travelling to the Dallas Cup in March, as well as making eight appearances in the league.

Harley Platel: Forward

Harley is another player who has done the whole of his Academy journey with Fulham, joining as an Under-9. A winger with an eye for goal, he had a productive campaign with the Under-16s last season.

A right-footed player who likes to operate from the left, Harley is a good finisher and a strong dribbler. He’s an attacker who is always looking to make things happen.

Ruban Khan: Midfielder

Ruban joined as an Under-14 and came from grassroots football. A South London boy, Ruban used to play futsal when he was younger.

You can see that futsal experience in the way he plays the game. He’s fantastic in tight spaces and is always looking to collect the ball in midfield and help the team progress up the field.

Ruban’s work-rate is impressive. He never stops running and brings so much energy to the team.

Oliver Mayer: Goalkeeper

Oliver has also done the full journey from Under-9s. He’s a big character and a brilliant leader at the back.

A shot-stopper who is comfortable with the ball at his feet, he communicates well and drives high standards among the group. A local lad, he’s represented England at Under-16s level.
