Fulham FC Women can confirm the following players will depart following the 2023/24 season.
Mary Southgate will leave after playing a pivotal role in more than 150 appearances. As the centre-back steps away from her role as club captain, it is important to recognise the impact she has had on the Club throughout her eight years.
She has been a regular feature in the squad, being part of a series of progressions the Club has made as it transitioned from the Foundation to the performance side of football.
Fellow leadership team member Chloé Christison-McNee has also departed. After joining the Club in 2021, Chloé featured in more than 50 matches for the Whites.
Tessa Allen will be leaving the Club after four years and 90 appearances in a Fulham shirt, and two years as a part of the leadership team.
After three years at the Club, Emily Bird has made the move to Leatherhead. Emily worked up from Foundation Girls’ Development Centre, and the Club wish the young defender the best of luck as she continues her footballing journey.
Goalkeeper Ellie Parker will step away from the Club after joining the side last season. Ellie made 19 appearances, two which will notably be remembered as Ellie secured progression in cup competitions after two epic penalty shootouts.
Ede Buchele will leave Fulham and head off to university. Ede worked her way up to the First Team from the U18s over a two-year period and secured 24 goals and 14 assists in 51 appearances.
Ava Huntrods joined Fulham on a dual registration with London Bees after graduating from Chelsea Academy, but will leave on a scholarship to America after nine appearances for the Whites.
Everyone at Fulham Football Club would like to thank the contributions each player has made towards the Club and we wish them the very best for the future.
