Serbia snatched a dramatic equaliser right at the death in their 1-1 draw with Slovenia on Thursday afternoon.
After impressing against England in their tournament opener, Saša Lukić was given another start in central midfield in Munich.
Slovenia started well and hit the post through Timi Elsnick, while at the other end Aleksandar Mitrović was thwarted twice by goalkeeper Jan Oblak.
Lukić was withdrawn with 64 minutes played, and soon after his side found themselves behind when Zan Karnicnik tapped home a lovely Elsnick delivery.
It looked like it wasn’t to be Serbia’s day when Mitrović smashed a shot against the crossbar, but they grabbed what could be a vital point when Luka Jovic headed home from a corner in the fifth minute of added on time.
Serbia now face Denmark on Tuesday, still in contention to progress to the knockout stages.
