Fulham v Manchester City | Saturday 11th May | 12.30pm | Craven Cottage | #FULMCI
The opposition
- Manchester City hope to become the first side in Premier League history to win the title four seasons in a row. It’s in their hands, too, knowing three wins from three will see them finish above Arsenal.
- They go into the weekend’s fixtures a point behind the Gunners and with an inferior goal difference, but they have crucially played one match fewer. That game in hand is on Tuesday, away to Tottenham Hotspur.
- City have been an absolute juggernaut during the business end of the season, winning nine of their previous 11 league outings, while the other two were draws with title rivals Arsenal and Liverpool.

Fulham team news
Tosin and Harrison Reed missed the Brentford draw through illness but are back in contention for the weekend, but Saša Lukić is out with a calf issue.

Player insight
Bernd Leno knows his side will need to be at their best to defeat City on Saturday, but has faith that it’s possible.
“Most of the games that we’ve had against City have been very tight,” he told FFCtv. “Even last season when we lost 2-1, it was a very tight game at the Cottage.
“Hopefully this season we can make it as hard as possible for them. We all know we need a perfect day, a perfect game, but we believe.”

Matchday programme
Ahead of our final home match of the season, Tom Cairney spoke to the matchday programme to reflect on the 2023/24 campaign up to this point.
“After the third international break in November, we really found our form, beating Wolves and then we had the back-to-back, 5-0 victories over Nottingham Forest and West Ham,” commented TC. “You always have ups and downs in the season and probably we were just missing that bit of consistency this season. But overall, with two matches to go, we have to be happy with what has been a really good season so far.”
Elsewhere in the programme, Alex White takes a look back on memorable past encounters with Manchester City while John Shirley concludes his ‘Magic Numbers’ series with a look at Fulham players to have donned the Whites’ number 33 shirt over the years.
Priced at £4, you can pick up a copy of the programme on the day or online.
