Our Under-21s take on Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League Cup Final at Craven Cottage on Thursday evening, with Hayden Mullins’ side hoping to end a successful season by winning a piece of silverware in SW6.

HOW WE GOT HERE

Our run to the Premier League Cup Final has been impressive; with no team scoring more goals nor conceding less than Hayden Mullins’ side during the Group Stages.

Among our three Group Stage wins was an 8-0 triumph over Burnley and a 6-1 victory away at Brentford – and despite going winless in our final three matches, we still topped our group with 11 points from six games.

That set up a Round of 16 tie with Middlesbrough, where a late Adrion Pajaziti penalty secured a spot in the Quarter-Finals, after Sonny Finch had cancelled out Lemar Gordon’s opener.

We cruised into the final four with a 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at Motspur Park. Goals from Terrell Works and George Okkas saw us race into a first-half lead, before Callum Osmand added another after the break.

A statement Semi-Final win at Chelsea followed, with our Young Whites 4-0 up after just 36 minutes after a sensational first-half showing at Kingsmeadow.

A LOOK AT SPURS

The team to beat at Under-21s level this season, Spurs finished top of the PL2 table and have also reached the Semi-Finals of the Play-Offs.

Spurs have plenty of talent in attacking areas, with Will Lankshear boasting 19 goal contributions this season, Jamie Donley has 17, while Yago Santiago and Jude Soonsup-Bell aren’t far behind with 16 each.

They have suffered a couple of scares recently, although have managed to overcome the challenges they’ve faced. In the Premier League Cup Semi-Final, they were 3-0 down to Nottingham Forest at half-time, but ended up winning 4-3 with two stoppage-time goals, while they needed a penalty shootout to see off Liverpool in their most recent Play-Off tie.

De Fougerolles: We Can't Wait

Fulham U21s defender Luc De Fougerolles is looking forward to playing at Craven Cottage for the first time - and believes the Fulham crowd will be a huge help on Thursday evening.

“To be playing for something at this point of the season is ideal and what we wanted," De Fougerolles said. "We can’t wait. It’s our last game of the season and we all want to win.

“This has been a really good competition for us and we’ve got our reward by getting to the Final. We’ve kept a few clean sheets and scored loads of goals, so hopefully we can keep it going for the Final.

“We don’t normally get as many people down at Motspur Park, so playing at the Cottage will be amazing. It’ll be my first time playing at the Cottage, so I can’t wait and hopefully there’s loads of people there.”
