On Monday 28th October, Fulham Under-12s took part in some community engagement in Korean café 'Cake and Bingsoo' in New Malden as part of their Truce Cup Challenge to find new friends in their community.

The U12s decided this would be a perfect opportunity to create a bond between the Club and our Korean community nearby the training ground at Motspur Park.

The U12s group conducted themselves admirably, interacting confidently with locals and showing a keen interest in Korean language and culture. Their mission was to discuss and understand how others feel about the power of friendship and community. The players did this by sharing a wordsearch that people were happy to complete with smiles on faces and sparking insightful conversations.

The U12s then gifted the café with a signed shirt in hopes of forming a sustainable friendship and connection between the Fulham Academy and the Korean population of New Malden.
