The end to Monday’s game will go down in Fulham folklore, and the significance of the achievement was not lost on the pundits covering the game, either.
Oh my god. That's why we love football. Fulham deserved something from this game and they got the three points. That's why Marco Silva was so emotional. I’ll tell you something – this is the type of game where, after the game, babies are made!

I’m not even going to call him Harry Wilson, I’m going to call him Harry Kane, he was that good in the box. It’s a testament to the belief and coaching of Marco Silva. His team continued to do what they did, regardless of the state of the game.

I thought Marco Silva's side were outstanding. I felt it was very unfortunate that they went in at half-time behind. They totally dominated the game. Brentford weren't really at the races and they'll be bitterly disappointed to lose. It was a great end to the game. We want them kinds of finishes on Monday Night Football.

This is why we love football. It’s the only sport that gives you this unscripted drama. It’s a piece of brilliance from Wilson – it could win goal of the season. He’s meant it, it’s an unbelievable finish. He’s had to improvise in the blink of an eye. If Erling Haaland scores that, we absolutely wax lyrical about it.

That is just incredible. Incredible. The effort that Fulham have put in across the entire piece, you cannot deny them their reward. But it looked like they had been denied by a resilient Brentford team. What a finish to this game.

To come up with two goals late on and the header as well, it just was wonderful, two really good crosses into the box, and then to win it. Fulham deserved it, they were the better team throughout the game. To walk away with a win, it’s the best feeling. It’s the worst feeling if you’re Brentford, but it’s the best feeling when you win so late on. The joy is amazing.
