Fulham's opening goal against Man City, which saw Andreas Pereira finish instinctively after Raúl Jiménez's stunning backheeled assist, has been voted Fulham's Goal of the Month for October.
Speaking after the 3-2 defeat at the Etihad, Andreas said: "I think it was a really good build-up to the goal, it was a good pass from Raúl. It's always special for me to score a goal here from my history with United."
And on the latest episode of Fulham Fix, Raúl said: "I like the backheels, I like the rabonas, I like the bicycle kicks. I always try to do something different like that. I know Andreas likes to do that kind of thing, so I knew he'd expect something."
The goal beat out competition from Alex Iwobi's goal against former club Everton, and Martial Godo's eye-opening strike at Birmingham in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.
- Andreas (47 per cent)
- Iwobi (24 per cent)
- Godo (12 per cent)
