Joachim Andersen has been nominated for Denmark’s Male Footballer of the Year award.
One of three nominees, Andersen is up against Sporting CP’s Morten Hjulmand and 2022 winner, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.
Speaking on Instagram, Andersen said: “Great honour to be nominated by all my colleagues again. I really appreciate it 🙏🏻🇩🇰”
The Footballer of the Year award is decided by the players themselves, with the winner announced on Saturday 4th January.
