The opposition
Spurs go into the weekend sitting sixth in the Premier League, a point and three places above Fulham, but will perhaps feel they should be even higher.
The top scorers in the division with 27 goals, Tottenham have beaten the likes of Aston Villa and both Manchester sides this season, but they took just one point from matches against Leicester City, Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town.
The Europa League has also proven to be a fairly inconsistent competition for them, as they followed up three consecutive wins with defeat in Turkey by Galatasaray, before conceding a stoppage time equaliser at home to Roma on Thursday.

Team News
🐓 Guglielmo Vicario will be out after undergoing ankle surgery, meaning Fraser Forster is likely to keep goal for the foreseeable future. Micky van de Ven, Richarlison and Wilson Odobert all have hamstring injuries, while Mikey Moore is ill. Cristian Romero is closest to a return, but is still considered a long shot for the weekend. Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended.
🖤 Joachim Andersen joins Harrison Reed in the treatment room, and will miss the next few matches. Fellow centre-back Jorge Cuenca is also absent after picking up a knock in midweek, while Ryan Sessegnon is a doubt for the match at his former club.
