It was a fantastic weekend for our Chesterfield loanees as Devan Tanton and Harvey Araujo both starred in the Spireites’ 3-0 victory at Doncaster Rovers.
Doncaster came into the game off the back of a club record 11-game winning run at home, but it was put to an end by Chesterfield, with our defensive duo helping contribute to the win and a clean sheet.
Tanton was forced off at half-time with a knock, while Araujo was also in the wars, playing with a bandage on his head for much of the second half on his first League Two start.

Elsewhere in the fourth tier, there was a start for Olly Sanderson in Bradford City’s 2-1 defeat at Harrogate Town.
Callum McFarlane continues to lead the line for National League side Wealdstone, buoyed from scoring three goals in his previous three appearances. The striker played the full 90 minutes as the nine-player Stones were forced to settle for a point at Halifax Town.

It was agony for Tom Olyott and Walton & Hersham in the FA Cup Third Qualifying round. The Southern League South high-flyers were 1-0 ahead against Tonbridge Angels but ended up losing the tie 2-1.
Up in Scotland, Terry Ablade was in from the off, but he couldn’t help Partick Thistle to a positive result, with Hamilton Academical running out 1-0 winners in the Scottish Championship clash.
There was mixed success for our young loanees who are currently overseas, as Adrion Pajaziti’s HNK Gorica claimed a 2-1 victory over Slaven Belupo, but it was defeat for Imani Lanquedoc and FC Haka at Kuopion Palloseura in Veikkausliiga.
