Our Under-21s begin their National League Cup campaign on Tuesday evening with a trip to Maidenhead United, 7:30pm kick-off.
It’s our first ever game in the competition, which has launched this season, consisting of PL2 sides and the First Teams of National League clubs.

Hayden Mullins’ side have been putting in impressive performances across multiple fronts this season. The Young Whites have won four from four in PL2, remain in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages of the Bristol Street Motors Trophy and began the Premier League International Cup campaign with an epic comeback in a 4-4 draw against Jong PSV last week.
The National League Cup: Explained
The National League Cup is a 32-team competition, consisting of 16 PL2 sides and 16 National League clubs.
There are four groups of eight teams, with the two best-placed teams from each group qualifying for the knockout stages.

The competition is designed to give young players from Premier League and EFL clubs additional opportunities to test themselves against senior opposition, with the aim of further aiding elite player development.
Our trip to Maidenhead is the first of our four group stage fixtures. We will also face Wealdstone, Woking and Aldershot Town, with the knockout stages set to begin in February. Brighton U21s, Derby County U21s and Southampton U21s will also compete in our group.
