The opposition
Following an impressive campaign last season which saw them qualify for the Champions League, Villa look well-positioned to challenge for the top four again.
It’s early days, but Unai Emery’s side have lost just once in the Premier League – a 2-0 defeat to Arsenal – and have started their Champions League campaign with two wins from two.

Team News
🤍 Saša Lukić [shoulder] and Timothy Castagne [hamstring] returned from international duty with injuries and will be unavailable for Saturday's match. Jorge Cuenca and Carlos Vinícius remain sidelined.
🟣 Tyrone Mings and Boubacar Kamara are both in contention following long-term injuries. Amadou Onana and John McGinn are also available after missing out against Manchester United, as is defender Ezri Konsa, who was forced off after 12 minutes during the draw with the Red Devils. Goalkeeper Robin Olsen is the only absentee.
Kits
Both sides will be wearing their home kits this weekend.
