Joachim Andersen has been named Man of the Match from Fulham’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.

On his first appearance at the Cottage in a Fulham shirt for more than three years, Andersen immediately reminded supporters of what he’s all about, spraying a number of pristine long diagonal balls out to the left wing, finding his man on each occasion.

Defensively solid, too, if his leg was an inch longer he may well have cut out Jarrod Bowen’s ball that led to the equaliser, which would have resulted in the clean sheet his – and his teammates’ – performance deserved.

It was a fairly comfortable win for Joa, with 38.1 per cent of fans voting for the Dane, putting him ahead of Emile Smith Rowe (17.3) and Antonee Robinson (10.6).
