The opposition
Itโs been a sensational start to the season for Newcastle, who have taken 10 points from a possible 12 so far. Theyโve had to work for them, though, beating Southampton, Tottenham and Wolves by a single goal, in addition to coming from behind to claim a point away to Bournemouth.
Itโs form which currently has them sitting third in the Premier League, but a win at Craven Cottage would move them into top spot, ahead of Manchester City versus Arsenal on Sunday.

Team news
๐ค Carlos Vinicius misses out once again, but is expected to return to training next week.
๐ฒ Alexander Isak will have a late fitness test as he battles issues with his eye and foot, but fellow striker Callum Wilson is definitely out. Lewis Miley, Jamaal Lascelles and Sven Botman are also sidelined.
