Fulham Under-21s made it three PL2 wins on the bounce with an impressive 4-1 victory at Tottenham Hotspur.

On his first start of the season, Martial Godo scored an early goal to give our Young Whites the lead, skipper Chris Donnell bagged a brace in the second period with Aaron Loupalo-Bi adding another in stoppage-time.

Will Lankshear, last season’s PL2 top scorer, almost found the top corner from a free-kick after two minutes, but his strike bounced on top of the net.

However, two minutes later, Samuel Amissah released Callum Osmand with a beautiful ball over the top, with the striker squaring the ball to Godo to finish into an unguarded goal.

Our Young Whites were hungry for more, with Spurs goalkeeper Luca Gunter having to make fine stops to deny Osmand and Godo before we hit the 10-minute mark.

Gunter was being kept busy as he then denied a brilliant double chance. Firstly, Godo worked his magic on the left, cutting inside onto his right foot to see his curler saved, before the Spurs shot-stopper tipped Ollie Gofford’s piledriver over the bar with his fingertips.

Jon Esenga tried his luck from a free-kick with 35 minutes on the clock, but his dipping effort sailed just wide.

Just like we did in the first-half, we started the second period in the groove. Donnell doubled our lead after being sent through by an intelligent headed flick on by Osmand, with the skipper beating Gunter with a delicate chipped finish.

A mix up at the back allowed Callum Olusesi to reduce the deficit just a couple of minutes later, but Gunter was again straight back into action down the other end, making a double save from Godo, before leaping across his line at full stretch to deny Gofford.

Donnell’s second goal wasn’t as pretty as his first, heading the ball in from close range after Gunter failed to get any real distance on his punch out from Esenga’s corner.

As the game ticked into its latter stages, Kristian Šekularac stung the palms of Gunter with a rasping effort, before Aaron Loupalo-Bi was sent through one-on-one, with the Spurs ‘keeper this time making a save with his feet.

We added a fourth in stoppage-time as a combination of Aaron Loupalo-Bi bundled the ball over the line.
