Fulham held on to earn an impressive victory away at Nottingham Forest.

Raúl Jiménez scored from the penalty spot in the 51st minute after Andreas Pereira was fouled.

The victory matches the Club's best-ever start to a Premier League season after six matches, accumulating 11 points.

Marco Silva named an unchanged XI from the Newcastle United win at Craven Cottage last time out. Harry Wilson came in for Ryan Sessegnon on the bench.

Fulham started the game brightly, with Alex Iwobi and Adama Traoré enjoying a lot of the ball in wide areas.

Just under 20 minutes in, Taiwo Awoniyi had the first sight of goal for the hosts - from a looped long throw, his audacious bicycle-kick went just over Bernd Leno's bar.

Forest continued to threaten - five minutes later, a deep cross to the far post was headed back across goal to Chris Wood and the New Zealander thought he had scored, but VAR disallowed the goal for offside.

Raúl had his first sight of goal almost immediately after, but his effort was saved by Matz Sels.

Moments into the second half, Andreas went down under the pressure of Murillo. After a lengthy VAR check and a visit to the monitor, referee Josh Smith awarded a penalty.

Raúl stepped up and, with a stuttering run, calmly placed his effort to the right side-netting.

Calvin Bassey was to the rescue just after the hour mark with a last-ditch challenge to prevent Anthony Elanga from a goalscoring chance inside the box.

Kenny Tete had shouts for a second Fulham penalty waved away when he was pushed over in the box by Alex Moreno.

Issa Diop made his way on as a late substitute as Fulham held on to earn another impressive three points in the Premier League.
