Don’t just take our word for it

Mrs James, Inclusion Lead, Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, said: “Sacred Heart has been privileged to be part of the Fulham FC Foundation programme for several years. This initiative has played a vital role in developing resilience and confidence among our students. We have seen first-hand how it can support children who were once reluctant to attend school and who are now eager to arrive on the days, they know their Fulham mentor will be present. This positivity for school has transcended into different days too.

"The programme has been transformative, particularly for children who previously lacked the confidence to express themselves. Many are now more willing to participate in discussions, ask questions, and even offer advice to their peers. Additionally, we have observed noticeable improvements in behaviour with the children that the mentor has worked with. Children who previously struggled with classroom routines now appear more settled and engaged. The strong, trusting relationships built between the Fulham mentor and our students have been central to this progress.”
