There was late drama at Motspur Park as Fulham Under-21s were forced to settle for a point against Manchester City.
A win would have seen Hayden Mullins’ side leapfrog their opponents and climb to the top of the PL2 standings with just one match left to play, and the three points looked to be in the bag when Callum Osmand headed home from Chris Donnell’s cross in the last minute of normal time.
But a Divin Mubama goal deep in stoppage-time saw City draw level and break Fulham hearts.

It was a lively start from our Young Whites, but both the side netting and offside flag denied Osmand from giving us an early lead following a threaded Josh King pass.
Michael Allen had to be alert when keeping out Charlie Gray’s driven strike, gobbling up the follow up as Mubama closed in.
A moment of individual brilliance arrived from Martial Godo after half an hour, cutting inside onto his right foot, wrapping his boot around the ball and seeing his shot whistle narrowly past the post.
In truth, it was a half short on chances, although a flurry of them did arrive on the stroke of the interval as Godo and King saw shots blocked after Terrell Works had fizzed across a deep delivery.

Samuel Amissah threw himself in front of a powerful Lakyle Samuel strike shortly after the break, while Gray tried his luck from outside the box once more, but his free-kick was well over.
As we entered the final 10 minutes, Christian McFarlane found himself free down the left and rattled the near post from a tight angle.
Godo demonstrated moments of magic throughout the 90 minutes as he teased the City full-back with a few twists and turns, before finding Donnell with a deep cross, but his hooked volley was blocked before it could reach City goalkeeper Spike Brits.
From the resulting action, Matt Dibley-Dias dragged a shot wide, while Delano McCoy-Splatt couldn’t direct his shot through a sea of City bodies.
Our youngsters continued to grow as the minutes ticked away and Osmand looked to have won it in the 90th minute. Donnell floated in a delicious cross from the right – and the striker was there to head home into the bottom corner, sparking jubilant celebrations.
A counter-attack, led by the goalscorer, saw McCoy-Splatt presented with another opportunity, but he shot wide again from a promising angle.
City’s equaliser was scrappy, but Mubama got the final touch, bundling the ball over the line in the 96th minute.
There was still time for another chance as Lemar Gordon whipped a cross into the danger zone, but Amissah couldn’t generate enough power on his header.
Top spot still remains up for grabs, but our Young Whites will have to beat Blackburn Rovers next Monday and hope City lose at home to Newcastle United.
